Merlot tasting notes
It is an intense violet colour, clean and bright, full of youthfulness.
The nose is medium to high regarding intensity; it shows notes of red fruits like strawberry or raspberry. In the mouth it has a fresh flow, good acidity, as freshly bottled. It expresses a young feeling from both the fruit sensation alike the carbonic maceration.
Bobal tasting notes
Red cherry wine with violet edging and clean bright colour, young wine denoting its recent bottling. In the nose, prevail the red fruit, blackberry, wild fruits and ripe fruit aromas.
In the mouth, there is a touch of sweetness on the tip of the tongue, due to the glycerol of this variety, very well balanced; it is not perceived the high alcohol level (of this vintage, due to low rainfall). Good structure of the wine, smooth with a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste, very persistent finish.
It is an ideal wine to take with “tapas” and rice with meat like poultry, or with typical inland Spanish dishes.
